Think about a time when you exaggerated something to make a point, tell a story, or get someone's attention. What happened? What did you say? Why did you exaggerate? Looking back, do you think your exaggeration made your message more effective? Explain.

Prompt Response: A time I exaggerates something to get my point across was when I exaggerated the amount of time I am busy doing activities. I was telling people how much activities and trying to have them understand why it would be hard for us to hang out and i said they I Never ever have a moment of free time. While I may be very busy it is obviously understood that I do have moments of free time and too myself. Using this exageration they were able to understand that going out was not an opportunity as i was constantly busy. Despite the success of this I still would not use exgeration as a device often as it could potentially be confused as lying.

Summary: Today in class we read about different rhetorical devices and practiced using them

Reflection: I can use what I learned in class today to see and utilize rhetorical devices. This can make my arguments clearer and more concise and convincing.
