Write about something you’ve always been curious about.

 Prompt Response: I have always been curious about how people choose their careers. I have always been an indecisive person, and often I am asked "what ot you want to be when you grow up. I am always honest and just answer with "Im not sure yet." I hear so many stories about how so many people are passionaite about things from when they are young, and I have had hobbies and interests, but I have never been so interested in something for such a long time that I would want persue It. I wonder how people can find something so boring a thing they would want to do for the rest of their life especially when it takes up an overwhelming majority of someones life.

 Summary: Today in class we proof read an argumentative paragraph we wrote as a group.

Reflection: I can use what I learned in class today to see how to fix my own writing. If my writing can be more clear and consise then I will be able to have stronger arguments.

Personally I do not own any major social media, and am not active on any sites so for me all of my connections are in person connections. Whil yes technology affects the way I communicate by commodifying communication, it still feels less genuiene than in person connection, and therefore I seek out more inperson connection. I struggle to see how people feel such close connection when they are so far from someone.  Summary: Today in class we read about different rhetorical devices and practiced using them Reflection: I can use what I learned in class today to see and utilize rhetorical devices. This can make my arguments clearer and more concise and convincing.

  Prompt Response:  A word that I use the most is genuinely. This is an adverb that is used to express complete honesty. This word has become a part of my every day vocabulary because it is a good word when you want to exaggerate something, and make something important. However I have gotten so used to using it that I find it annoying, however I am unable to stop using it. I typically use it when I am trying to explain my feelings about something, and I use it to show when I truly do feel something. I am trying to use other words in place of genuinely. Summary:   Today in class we did a vocabulary assignment out of a textbook. Reflection:  I can use what I learned in class today to better my writing. Having more advanced writing will better my chances in life.

Write about a fear you have overcome.

  Prompt Response:  I have overcome my fear of the dark. When I was younger I was incredibly scared of the dark. I would run into my bed scared after turning off my lights, refuse to take out the trash at night, and not want to be alone in the dark. This fear would cause me constant anxiety whenever night would come. One day I decided that I had had enough so I decided that every time I had the urge to to run away from the dark into "safety" i would force myself to walk extra slow. This eventually conditioned me into staying calm in the dark, and now I am over my fear of the dark Summary: Today in class we went over notes about how to write with a better vocabulary. Reflection:  This can help my writing appear more professional. Having more professional writing can help improve my ap scores.
