Describe something you will never fully understand.

 Prompt: Something I will never be able to fully understand is how songwriters create music. I find it so mystical that someone can think of a beat and think of lyrics that go along with it so well. While I do understand rhymes, and I do understand people can make beats, It always fascinates me how people can think of such creative and unique sounds that have never existed before. Additionally, how does one structure a song, or decide how each part is supposed to be sung. Song writing is so creative that I will never fully be able to grasp how someone is able to conjure up something that has never existed, and fully flesh it out.

Summary: Today In class we learned how to create claims and how to back them up with evidence in a paragraph format.

Reflection: I can use what I used today to properly learn how to answer paragraph argument assignments on the AP Lang test. This will help me get a passing score so that I can take less classes in college.

Personally I do not own any major social media, and am not active on any sites so for me all of my connections are in person connections. Whil yes technology affects the way I communicate by commodifying communication, it still feels less genuiene than in person connection, and therefore I seek out more inperson connection. I struggle to see how people feel such close connection when they are so far from someone.  Summary: Today in class we read about different rhetorical devices and practiced using them Reflection: I can use what I learned in class today to see and utilize rhetorical devices.   Prompt Response:  A word that I use the most is genuinely. This is an adverb that is used to express complete honesty. This word has become a part of my every day vocabulary because it is a good word when you want to exaggerate something, and make something important. However I have gotten so used to using it that I find it annoying, however I am unable to stop using it. I typically use it when I am trying to explain my feelings about something, and I use it to show when I truly do feel something. I am trying to use other words in place of genuinely. Summary:   Today in class we did a vocabulary assignment out of a textbook. Reflection:  I can use what I learned in class today to better my writing. Having more advanced writing will better my chances in life.

Write about a fear you have overcome.

  Prompt Response:  I have overcome my fear of the dark. When I was younger I was incredibly scared of the dark. I would run into my bed scared after turning off my lights, refuse to take out the trash at night, and not want to be alone in the dark. This fear would cause me constant anxiety whenever night would come. One day I decided that I had had enough so I decided that every time I had the urge to to run away from the dark into "safety" i would force myself to walk extra slow. This eventually conditioned me into staying calm in the dark, and now I am over my fear of the dark Summary: Today in class we went over notes about how to write with a better vocabulary. Reflection:  This can help my writing appear more professional. Having more professional writing can help improve my ap scores.
